From Calmac Ferry Terminal, Lochmaddy – 23 miles; 35 minutes
- On disembarking the ferry turn left, following signs to Clachan and follow the road for 8 miles.
- Turn left onto the A865 and follow signs for Lochboisdale and follow this road for 14 miles.
- Once on the Isle of South Uist follow the road for approximately one mile and then turn right following the sign for Iochdar, Aird a Mhachair and Cill Amhlaidh. There is also a sign for Hebridean Jewellery at the junction.
- Corrodale Cottage is located half a mile down this road on the left hand side of the road.
From Calmac Ferry Terminal, Lochboisdale – 19.5 miles; 30 minutes
- On disembarking the ferry head east on A865 and follow this road for 19 miles.
- Turn left following the sign for Iochdar, Aird a Mhachair and Cill Amhlaidh. There is also a sign for Hebridean Jewellery at this junction.
- Corrodale Cottage is located half a mile down this road on the left hand side of the road.
